Raw carbon steel castings
For buyers with their own machining line, identify casting dimensions, machining stock, locating surfaces and the required material condition. Agree the surfaces and records to be accepted at the casting stage.

Source custom carbon steel investment castings from JK Casting in Shandong, China. Send the specified grade, drawing and production quantity. We review the casting route, required condition and finished interfaces as one supply scope.
Carbon steel is one of JK Casting's regular material families. The drawing and purchase requirements define the actual grade and acceptance criteria. Include heat treatment, mechanical properties or hardness where the design calls for them. Do not rely on a photograph, part name or a generic grade-equivalence list to define the material.
Material specification guidance supports the review. Stainless steel, grey iron and ductile iron are different material enquiries, not automatic substitutes.
For buyers with their own machining line, identify casting dimensions, machining stock, locating surfaces and the required material condition. Agree the surfaces and records to be accepted at the casting stage.
Include the bores, mounting faces, pin holes and threads that JK Casting is to finish on the castings it supplies. Mark dimensions that govern assembly, and define the corresponding inspection method.
Compare quotations with the same drawing revision and delivery condition. A raw-casting price is not comparable to a price that includes machining, treatment, inspection and packing. Use the casting quotation comparison checklist.
These are drawing-review starting points, not stock products or a promise that every listed shape uses carbon steel investment casting. The material and route are confirmed for the actual part.
Define the mounting pattern, load direction, datum faces and assembly clearances. See the existing construction equipment casting applications.
Identify pin interfaces, mating gaps, machined holes and coating requirements. Review power-line fitting examples and supply the applicable drawing and acceptance criteria.
Show aligned bores, sealing or mounting faces and machining access. The machined housing RFQ guide helps define those interfaces.
Send the drawing revision, initial batch and anticipated repeat demand. Identify the material evidence, dimensional report and other acceptance records required with the first sample. This gives purchasing and engineering the same basis for deciding whether to release production.
Review JK Casting's factory information and our ISO 9001:2015 certificate and inspection photographs. The certificate scope is processing of steel castings. Order-specific records follow the agreed inspection requirements.
Use the first-article checklist and repeat-order release guide to align the approved sample, drawing revision, material condition and subsequent call-offs.
For the lost-wax process overview, see investment casting in China. Where geometry, section size or batch economics point to another route, review our sand and investment casting capabilities against the same drawing. The quotation should identify the proposed route rather than treating every carbon steel component as an investment casting.
Use the grade and standard required by your drawing, together with the delivery or heat-treatment condition. Include required mechanical properties and acceptance tests where specified. A proposed equivalent requires your approval; carbon steel is a material family, not a complete specification.
Yes. You can request raw castings for your own machining, or include machining on castings JK Casting supplies. Identify machining allowance, datums and the required delivery condition so quotations cover the same work.
Mark the required tolerances and surface finish on the drawing. Separate as-cast requirements from machined bores, faces and fits. Feasibility and the inspection method are confirmed for those features during quotation rather than assumed from the process name.
State the sample quantity, first production batch, expected repeat demand and required dates. Agree the drawing revision, material condition and sample acceptance records before releasing production. Tooling, sampling, machining and production timing are confirmed in the quotation.
Send your drawing revision, grade, required condition and batch plan. Include machining, coating and inspection requirements so the quotation addresses the part you need to buy.
