Lost-wax casting · Gaomi, Shandong
JK Casting supplies custom steel investment castings from your drawings, with machining as a supporting operation. Define the material, quantity and finished features; we review the casting route and supply scope before quotation.
Choose the route, not just the process name
Investment casting, also called lost-wax casting, forms parts using an expendable pattern and mould. It is a route to review for detailed steel geometry, integrated ribs and bosses, and components where casting shape and machined interfaces must work together. A drawing review is still necessary: the process name alone does not establish tolerance, soundness or fitness for service.
Show wall transitions, ribs, openings and assembly clearances. Mark features that are functional rather than cosmetic so the process review addresses the right risks.
Specify bores, datums, mounting faces, threads and fits. Distinguish the raw casting drawing from the finished drawing when both are needed.
Provide the initial quantity and likely repeat batches. Review tooling, first-sample approval and production requirements together rather than comparing unit price alone.
Carbon steel is a regular material family at JK Casting. Your grade, standard, heat-treatment condition and acceptance criteria govern the review. For the material-specific RFQ, use our carbon steel investment casting page.
Order the casting for your own machining line, or include the machining of castings we supply. The quotation should identify which faces remain as-cast and which dimensions are finished. See machined casting supply.
Stainless steel and special alloys require part-specific confirmation. Grey iron and ductile iron are separate enquiries with their own route review: see grey and ductile iron castings. They are not a blanket extension of the steel investment-casting offer.
JK Casting also reviews sand casting (resin sand). Compare the routes against the same material, geometry, machined features, batch quantity and inspection scope. A detailed shape may justify investment tooling; another part may be more practical through a sand-casting route. We do not select the route from a product name or photograph alone.
Compare our casting capabilities or use the casting quotation comparison guide to separate tooling, casting, machining and other agreed costs.
JK Casting is Shandong Jiangkai Metal Products Co., Ltd., based in Gaomi, Shandong. Our factory has operated since 2002. Review our factory information, existing part photographs and inspection information before sending a production RFQ.
See the company and factory information and ISO 9001:2015 certificate and inspection photographs. The certificate scope is processing of steel castings; it is not a product-specific approval.
Review existing agricultural bracket examples and construction equipment component families. A photograph illustrates geometry; it does not establish the pictured part's alloy, manufacturing route or stock availability.
Use the first-article approval checklist to specify the dimensions and records needed before production release. Required material evidence and inspection scope are agreed for your order.
Yes. Investment casting is also called lost-wax casting. An expendable pattern defines the shape of a mould, which is prepared for metal pouring. This page concerns industrial steel components, not jewellery.
Yes. We can supply raw castings or machine the specified bores, faces, holes and threads on castings we supply. The finished drawing and quotation define the delivery condition. Standalone machining of castings supplied by another foundry is outside this scope.
Carbon steel is a regular enquiry material. Send the exact grade, standard and required condition. Stainless steel and special alloys require part-specific confirmation. Grey iron and ductile iron enquiries are reviewed separately; do not assume they use the same investment-casting route.
Send the first-batch quantity, expected repeat demand and required delivery date. Tooling, sampling, machining and inspection affect the quotation and schedule. Quantity acceptance and lead time are confirmed for the individual part rather than by a blanket promise.
Include the finished features, required records and delivery plan. We will review the part for investment casting or another suitable route within our casting supply scope.
